Aveley boss Brett bounds to Brentwood?
Aveley announce the departure of manager Brett Munyard- to take up the vacant post at Brentwood Town
Aveley FC made a surprise announcement late last night, confirming the move of manager Brett Munyard to Brentwood Town. The Blues have been without a manager for only a couple of days, following the departure of former Aveley boss Keith Rowland.
The Millers statement was as follows:
Aveley Football Club have tonight found out that our manager, Brett Munyard has accepted the vacant mangers position at Brentwood Town.
Chairman Craig Johnson said "Disappointingly Brett called me this evening, just prior to training commencing and ahead of our important FA Cup tie with Brentwood on Saturday to tell me he was leaving to join our opponents.
The timing could not have been worse. Adam Bailey-Dennis will take the team on Saturday and I trust the Millers Family will unite and get behind Adam and the lads."
Brett took over at Parkside in April 2025. He was previously in charge at Maldon & Tiptree, Brightlingsea Regent and White Ensign. He steered the Millers to second place in our top flight last season.
As yet we've had no confirmation from Brentwood of Munyard's arrival.
