Bobby-Joe the Hornet

Horsham have signed Dorking Wanderers defender/midfielder Bobby-Joe Taylor on a one month loan- and gave him an immediate debut as they defeated Eastbourne Town in the Sussex Senior Cup on Tuesday night.

Bobby-Joe has a great deal of experience at a level higher than ours. He played youth football for Chelsea, Gillingham and Cambridge United before breaking into the first team at the latter, and moved on to play for Maidstone United and Aldershot Town. He moved on to Bromley, and whilst at Hayes Lane moved on loan to Dover Athletic, later moving to Crabble on a permanent basis. He next played for Ebbsfleet United, and moved to Dorking in the summer of 2021.
