Bresciani And Huk For Burgess And Hill!

Bresciani And Huk For Burgess And Hill!

Slavomir Huk and Elliott Bresciani are the latest arrivals at Burgess Hill Town

Burgess Hill Town have strengthened their defence with the signings of keeper Slavomir Huk and defender Elliott Bresciani.

Slav needs little introduction after his arrival from Dorking Wanderers, but we're going to introduce him anyway because it's our job!

A Wanderers legend, Slav was the hero as his side eased their way out of the Isthmian South Division in 2016-17, saving two penalties in the shootout after winning the club's Player of the season Award. He then went on to be immense as Dorking won our 2018-19 Premier Division title at a canter, playing a rather phenomenal fifty three times in the process.

He has been with Dorking since 2015, joining the club after moving to the UK from Slovakia, and since leaving our ranks has been a regular in the National League.

He spent a short time on loan at Bognor Regis Town during 21-22, playing only once but keeping a clean sheet in victory over Carshalton Athletic, and during the 22-23 season spent some time with Leatherhead, playing twenty one times.

More recently he has been on loan at Bath City in National League South, and at Chatham Town, where he made five appearances. He ended last season on loan at Raynes Park Vale, playing eight times.

Defender Elliott returns to Hill, where he was part of the youth side before graduating briefly to the first team squad during the 22-23 campaign, making appearances from the bench in a win against Sheppey United and a county cup defeat against brighton & Hove Albion. More recently he has been with Hill's neighbours Haywards Heath Town in the SCFL, but his experience also includes time as an Under 18 at Steyning Town and a few matches for Loxwood last season.
