Bromley loanee Stepien-Iwumene makes a winning Wands debut

Alex Stepien-Iwumene is new at Cray Wanderers- temporarily

Cray Wanderers brought in loanee Alex Stepien-Iwumene from former Landlords Bromley at the weekend, thrust him straight into the starting line up, and returned from Whitehawk with three goals and three points. We believe he is scheduled to remain a Wand until the end of the season.

Alex, who we believe can play in midfield and in defence, has played youth football at a higher level, and this is the first time he has been our way.

He started out at Sutton United with the Under 18 side, and then moved on to play Under 18 football for Southampton, where he stepped up to the Under 21's, before a move to the Under 21 side at Derby County, from where he was loaned to National League side Eastleigh.

He moved to Bromley in the summer of 2025, and has recently been on loan at National League South side Chelmsford City- indeed he only departed the club last week.
