Brown for the Gulls

Canvey Island had a new face amongst their squad as they took on Dulwich Hamlet on Saturday, with Swindon Town midfielder Jaxon Brown coming in on loan- and making a scoring start.

Jaxon was part of the Tottenham Hotspur Academy before making a move to Wiltshire in 2022, and has become an important part of the Under 18 side at the County Ground. He has already played for the first team at Town, first in the EFL Trophy and later in the league. He signed his first professional deal in the summer.
