Bryan-Waugh has a winning Swifts debut

Brandon Bryan-Waugh is new at Heybridge Swifts- and debuts in victory at Gorleston

Heybridge Swifts picked up three points in Gorleston last night, helped by two sendings off for the home side and a debut from new full back Brandon Bryan-Waugh.

Brandon came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur, playing for their Under 18 side, and went on to play at a similar level for Colchester United. He has also spent time at Reading, and at Enfield Town.

He has signed a dual registration deal which will see him appear for Swifts and for the Under 21 side at Chelmsford City.

Last night's match for Swifts was won with a goal in each half, but helped by the dismissal of Gorleston keeper Travis Canham on thirty five minutes. The visitors went ahead just before the break, Ben Allen with the goal, and on eighty four minutes the Greens made Swifts life even easier as Dion Frary was dismissed. The nine men conceded a second, Andrew Fennell scoring in added time to send Swifts up to fifth,

Brandon played for eighty two minutes of the victory.
