Bulls grab home advantage, Brickies take fifth- and Hassocks depart
Croydon and Jersey will host our Semi-Finals, whilst defeat sees the Robins say goodbye
Jersey Bulls have ended the season in magnificent form, and their seventh win in a row- a three-nil victory over Hastings United- saw them replace AFC Whyteleafe in third place to ensure that Leafe will have to travel on Tuesday evening. Leafe drew two-two at Herne Bay, coming from two down.
Bulls were almost second, AFC Croydon Athletic grabbing a late point at home to Sheppey United, two-two the final score, whilst Sittingbourne secured fifth place in style with a five-nil thumping of relegated VCD Athletic- the Brickies will head to Croydon for the Semi-Final. Champions Three Bridges drew two-two at Faversham Town, the hosts slipping to seventh, Margate climbing above them into sixth after a three-one win at East Grinstead Town.
Hassocks needed to defeat Ashford United whilst hoping that Sheppey United lost. At half time things were going well for the Robins, but the second half decided otherwise, Ashford coming back for a three-two win whilst Sheppey took a point in Croydon. Hassocks join Beckenham Town- who lost against Deal Town, VCD Athletic and East Grinstead Town in the bottom four.
Elsewhere, Crowborough Athletic defeated Merstham five-two, Eastbourne Town and Sevenoaks Town drew two-two, and Erith Town ended any lingering worries with a one-nil win over Broadbridge Heath.
Remember, all of the Semi-Finals can be seen live on Clubber TV.
