Campbell new at the Nuts and Bolts
Gabe Campbell makes an Ashford United debut
Ashford United have borrowed Gabe Campbell from Dartford, and gave him a debut as they fell to defeat at Merstham on Saturday. The Nuts and Bolts, who had previously been on a good run, were up against it after the early dismissal of William Duprey, and eventually lost two-nil. Gabe was introduced on sixty eight minutes.
The forward is rather new to the game, having signed for the Darts in the summer after being recommended by fellow Dart Samir Carruthers, who spotted him whilst coaching away from the club. He headed to Princes Park for a trial, and was quickly awarded a contract. He has made five appearances this season.
