Can the Tanners slay another giant?

In the Velocity Cup this evening, Pitching In Isthmian Premier side Hendon head to South Central Leatherhead with a Semi-Final place at stake. 

Hendon are in freefall, with seven defeats in a row, and whilst you’d have expected some upheaval after a managerial change and a collection of player departures, their form has dropped off a cliff and they look in desperate need of inspiration. The hosting Tanners have one defeat from seven in all competitions but have seen a collection of postponements slow their progress- this will be their first match since December 28th. They defeated Premier Division side Carshalton Athletic in the last round after an epic penalty shootout which eventually saw them emerge ten-nine, and defeated Westfield and South Park Reigate in earlier rounds.

Hendon's victories in the last two rounds came over Tilbury and Newmarket Town.
