Chambers new in Stripes

Folkestone Invicta have announced the signing of midfielder Josh Chambers.

Josh has played youth and first team football for Gillingham over the last few years, but has spent more time- loan spells in 22-23 and at the end of last season- helping Worthing fight for promotion from National League South, and is very highly regarded on the Sussex coast.

He has also had a successful loan spell at Welling United. 

This will be his first spell at our level, and boss Andy Drury told the club website:

‘He is a player who can play in any role in midfield and that provides us with great versatility, he has huge potential and we want to help him fulfil that here at Folkestone Invicta.’
