Charlton youngster new at the Nuts and Bolts

Pitching In Isthmian South East side Ashford United have brought in midfielder Mikey Berry, after his departure from Charlton Athletic.

Mikey was part of the Under 18 side at the Valley last season, and previously spent time in the Academy at Arsenal. His Under 18 side won the Professional Development League Two - South title last month, ending the season with a twelve match unbeaten run which included eleven wins to lift the trophy. He emerged from the bench as they confirmed the title with a game to spare when defeating AFC Bournemouth three-nil, after scoring in their six-two win over Ipswich Town a few days before.
