Da Costa new in Stripes

Folkestone Invicta gave a debut to winger Khale Da Costa in victory over one of his former clubs, Hendon, on Saturday.

Khale ended last season at Chatham Town, making fourteen appearances, the last of them in the Pitching In isthmian Premier Play Off Final in May. He also scored two goals. He joined the Chats from Concord Rangers, and scored two goals in thirteen appearances last season.

He ended the 22-23 season at Enfield Town, playing seven times and scoring in the first two, after moving to North London from Chelmsford City. Khale joined the Clarets in the summer of 2022, making the move from fellow National South side Braintree Town. 

He has also played in the National League for Dover Athletic, Tonbridge Angels, Concord Rangers, Braintree Town, Chelmsford City and St Albans City. He has a great deal of previous Isthmian experience, with Ware, Hanwell Town, Harrow Borough, Harlow Town and Hendon on that list.
