Correy Davidson makes a Cambridge City move

Prior to our Saturday fixtures Cambridge City announced a new recruit, with the signing of Correy Davidson.

Correy comes in from Saffron Walden Town, but he spent the last season in Pitching In Isthmian South East, chasing promotion with Sittingbourne, where he played eight times- the last of those in the Play Off Semi-Final. He signed for the Brickies during 22-23, when he played twenty nine times.

Correy started the 22-23 season in Pitching In Isthmian North, with Grays Athletic. He made five appearances for the Essex club, and also had a brief spell at Brentwood Town. He ended the previous campaign at AFC Sudbury, and prior to that the midfielder had been plying his trade two levels higher, with National League South side Braintree Town.

Correy previously spent time with Witham Town, Bowers and Pitsea and Coggeshall Town. He also played Isthmian Premier football with Bishop's Stortford, making twelve appearances during 2021-22 before moving on to Braintree. Higher still, as well as the Iron he also spent time with Concord Rangers and Kidderminster Harriers whilst they were National League clubs.
