Defender Evangelos for Rovers

Sutton Common Rovers gave a debut to centre back Evangelos Empochontsif in their Trophy defeat at Sittingbourne on Saturday.

Evangelos has played for Wingate and Finchley in our Premier Division this season, coming on from the bench in their opening day win against Dulwich Hamlet. He previously played in our League for Basildon United, making ten appearances last season, as well as spending time with Canvey Island and Hullbridge Sports. He has also played for Rushden and Diamonds, Newbury Forest, Walthamstow and Woodford Town.
