Luke Holness and Michael Okafor are new at Concord Rangers
Concord Rangers gave first starts to Luke Holness and Michael Okafor as they drew with Brentwood Town on New Years Day.
Luke started out as a Fulham and Crystal Palace youth before heading our way with Walton Casuals. He then moved on to Maldon and Tiptree, and also turned out for Sevenoaks Town and Tooting & Mitcham United.
2019-20 saw him play for Northwood and Bracknell Town, and he was then picked up by National League South side Braintree Town, going on to great success at a higher level, also playing for Tonbridge Angels and Hemel Hempstead Town.
He was back with us last season, joining Folkestone Invicta, playing eleven times and scoring four goals before heading back to the National League with Welling United. He started this season with Aveley.
Michael, a centre back, was with Brightlingsea Regent for the closing stages of last season, playing nine times. Michael was previously with Clacton for three seasons, making- according to the club website- eighty nine appearances and scoring five goals. He can apparently also play in midfield. He was previously- assuming there aren't two players with the same name- with Cockfosters.
