Mikey Davis and Taylor Parr move to Bury Town

Bury Town have increased their defensive options with the signings of Mikey Davis and Taylor Par, both of whom make the move from soon-to-be Isthmian North rivals Cambridge City.

Full back Mikey leaves City after six seasons with the club, so will be a big loss. He played for City when they were last an Isthmian club, making twenty six appearances during the unfinished 19-20 campaign and another nine during the hardly-started 20-21 season, when he helped the club to reach the Fourth Qualifying Round of the FA Cup. He made thirty five appearances in Pitching In North Premier Division One Midlands last season.

Prior to his time with City he was a youth with Grimsby Town and played for both Haverhill Rovers and Borough, and he has also had a spell at St Neots Town.

Centre back Taylor Parr has been with City for three years. After coming through the youth setup at Cambridge United he played for Godmanchester Rovers and St. Neots Town, before signing for Royston Town. He joined City for the 21-22 campaign, and made thirty six appearances last season.
