Double J for Sevenoaks
James Jeffrey and Nathan Jeche are new at the Oaks
Sevenoaks Town prepared for their FA Cup lick off at the weekend with the signings of James Jeffrey and Nathan Jeche.
Nathan a forward, was previously with Queens Park Rangers- and indeed was named Development Squad Player of the Season at the end of April 2024, before a move to Hemel Hempstead Town. He came through the ranks at Maidstone United to make his first team debut for the Stones at the end of the 22-23 campaign, and has also had spells at Fleet Town and Snodland Town before first coming our way with Cray Wanderers, where he played twenty times and scored two goals during 24-25. He moved on to be a great success with Whitstable Town, scoring eight goals in twelve appearances during the closing stages of the 24-25 campaign as the Oysterboys won the FA Vase, and played ten more times last season with a goal every two matches. He moved on to Kettering Town to end last season, scoring three goals in seventeen matches as his side reached the Play Off Semi-Finals.
James previously joined Oaks from Lewes in the autumn of 2024- he'd already played seven times for the Rooks that season, and went on to play forty times for Oaks, scoring five goals. Last season saw him play for Oaks briefly before a move to Hollands and Blair, in a campaign hit by injury.
James joined Hythe Town on a dual-registration deal from Whitstable Town in January 2023, and played six times. You may also remember James from his time at Margate, where he played seven times during the 2019-20 campaign, and he was also previously with two of our other Pitching In Isthmian South East sides, Chatham Town and Sheppey United, prior to them joining our ranks. He has also spent time with K Sports, Kennington and Lordswood.
