Duru of Becks

Full back Lesley Duru is the latest arrival at Beckenham Town, and had a baptism of fire at Ramsgate on Saturday.

Lesley played for Whyteleafe before being spotted by Fulham, where he was an Under 21. He had a spell at Glebe and another at Chesham United before heading back our way and signing for Sevenoaks Town, where he played three times towards the end of the 21-22 campaign. He headed to the North Division last season, spending time with Maldon & Tiptree and making six appearances, before moving upwards for a brief spell with Hungerford Town. Heading our way once more he made six appearances for Corinthian-Casuals towards the end of last season, and has since turned out for Chesham once more, and spent a short time at Berkhamsted.

Last season saw him spend some time at Chatham Town, playing twice, and this season he has played for Hythe Town- seven times- and for Hendon, twice earlier this month.
