Elito back with the Rams

Ramsgate announced the signing of Medy Elito prior to Saturday's Cup tie against Southall- only a couple of weeks after he was announced as a new arrival at Hythe Town. He doesn't seem to have played for the Cannons at all. 

Medy was a big part of the Rams success last season, making forty one appearances and scoring eight goals.

The midfielder had played all of his career prior to last season at a much higher level. A former Colchester United youth, he graduated to the first team and, following loan spells at Cheltenham Town and Dagenham & Redbridge he became a permanent Dagger and played more than one hundred times. 

He left the Daggers for the Netherlands and VVV-Venlo, before returning to the UK with Newport County. Two years at Cambridge City followed, followed by two more at Barnet, before Wealdstone became his next stop. A spell with Welling United preceded his move to the Rams.
