Emberson back in the game

Eastbourne Town have announced the signing of Luke Emberson, who returns to us after a long spell out with injury.

You might remember Luke from his time with Whitehawk, where he was a great success- indeed the 2019-20 campaign saw him win the Managers Player of the Year Award, and then follow that with the Young Player of the Year Award. The midfielder, who came through the youth setup at the Enclosed Ground, made thirty appearances for the Hawks during 18-19, another twenty six before covid wiped out the following season, eight before 20-21 ended almost before it had begun, and twenty seven more during 21-22.

He picked up a serious injury which has kept him away from the game for a number of years, and we're delighted to see him back.
