Faulkner back at Swifts

Heybridge Swifts wait for a League home win continued as they welcomed Tilbury on Saturday, but the home fans did at least have the welcome return of Southend United's Mikey Faulkner to cheer them up. Mikey emerged from the bench with twenty one minutes to go as his side searched for an equaliser. 

Mikey made twenty one appearances last season, scoring once, and played five times at the end of the 22-23 campaign. The midfielder has been on the bench for the Shrimpers first team ten times this season, and has been part of the Under 19 setup. He signed his first professional deal earlier this year, and his move to Swifts is a dual registration deal.

He also spent some time with Romford last season, playing a significant role in their run to the FA Vase Final.
