Felixstowe bring in Statham, Allen and Harrison
Maxwell Statham, Luke Allen and Callum Harrison are the latest Seasiders trio
Felixstowe and Walton United have strengthened with the arrivals of Maxwell Statham, Luke Allen and Callum Harrison.
Defender Maxwell came through the ranks at Tottenham Hotspur, playing for the Under 18 and Under 23 sides, and moved on to be an Under 23 at Watford before heading to Kent and Welling United. It is possible, however, that you might remember him from a short spell at Hornchurch during the 21-22 campaign, when he played eight times before that move to the Wings.
He has also spent time at Hemel Hempstead Town, Chatham Town, and a couple of National League South seasons at Dartford.
Luke started Last season at Cray Wanderers, making nine appearances. He then moved on to Welling United, playing seven times,
He played ten times for Folkestone Invicta in the closing stages of the 24-25 season. He started that campaign playing for Aveley in National League South, joining the Millers after five years at Dartford. He made eighteen Millers appearances.
He came through the ranks at Spurs, playing for the Under 18 side before heading to Cambridge United, where he also played Under 18 football. Whilst at United he had loan spells at Cambridge City and Hemel Hempstead Town, before joining the latter permanently. He then played for St Albans City, Tonbridge Angels and Braintree Town before becoming a Dart in the summer of 2019.
Callum Harrison is rather well known to the Seasiders faithful, as he has already played one hundred and nine times and scored thirty five goals for the club. Last season saw him with Brightlingsea Regent, where the midfielder played thirty nine times and scored four goals.
Callum previously had an impressive spell for AFC Sudbury during the unfinished 2019-20 campaign, and finished the 21-22 season at Coggeshall Town, with a spell at Chelmsford City in between. He managed to play twenty seven times for the Yellows, and also weighed in with eleven goals, before our season ended prematurely and City came calling. He then spent a season and a half with the Clarets- although of course we didn't finish the first one of those, either- before moving to the Seed Growers. His time with Coggeshall saw him play nineteen times and score twice.
He played for Colchester United at Under 23 level, and also turned out for Needham Market, as well as spending time in New Zealand with East Coast Bays.
