Fenelon and Marc-Olivier head to the Hill
Yoan Marc-Olivier and Shamir Fenelon arrive at Burgess Hill Town
Burgess Hill Town have welcomed Yoan Marc-Olivier and Shamir Fenelon.
Fenelon makes the move from Horsham, where has had lots of success over the last five years, winning our Premier title, the Sussex Senior Cup, and of course playing a big part in several famous Cup runs before spending last season playing in National League South. He joined the Hornets from then-National League South side Billericay Town in the summer of 2021.
Shamir started his footballing life at Brighton and Hove Albion, and during his time as a seagull had loan spells with Tonbridge Angels (then in National league South), Torquay United, Rochdale, Tranmere Rovers and Dagenham & Redbridge. He then moved permanently up the A23 to sign for Crawley Town, and from there spent some time back in Brighton on loan with our very own Whitehawk, before making another permanent move to Aldershot Town, where he spent three seasons. Maidenhead United then came calling, before that move to Billericay. He's also a Republic of Ireland Under 21 international.
Yoan Marc-Olivier's arrival confused us a little, as we know him as Yoan Edoukou from spells at Harrow Borough and Kingstonian last season.
He made his K's debut on September 13th 2025, and went on to play twenty times, scoring two goals- both of them in a Velocity Cup win over Three Bridges. He then moved on to Harrow and played sixteen times, scoring four goals.
The midfielder was previously playing his football in Kosovo, most recently with FC Prishtina, but has also played in the UK for Tower Hamlets.
