Former Harrow boss Ben goes green
Ben Bukowski takes the top job at Hendon
Shortly after Hendon's defeat against Horsham last night they announced the arrival -or indeed the return-of manager Ben Bukowski and his second in command Keagan Cole.
Ben was announced as departing Harrow Borough yesterday. He had been in charge of Borough since the summer, when he made the move from Northwood, and leaves them in seventh place in Pitching In Isthmian South Central, four points away from a play off spot.
Ben joined the Woods in November 2021, helping them to avoid relegation, before a fine 22-23 saw them lead the table in the early stages of the season and qualify for the Play Offs. Last season saw them end the campaign in fifteenth place.
Prior to joining the Woods, Ben was an important part of Gary McCann's successful coaching team at first Hendon and then Hampton and Richmond Borough.
The Dons are one place and two points above the drop zone, having lost their eighth successive match last night. Their fall down the table after the departure of former boss Lee Allinson on December 6th has been rather dramatic, although coupled with a number of player departures. Marc Charles-Smith took on an interim manager role, but has been unable to halt the slide and now departs the club.
