Four Lancers!

Lancing have announced a quartet of new arrivals. 

Midfielder Kiko Tanev makes the rather shot journey- indeed, he could have walked- from SCFL side Lancing. Kiko is a former Worthing youth player- indeed he won the outstanding player award when an Under 15 five years ago- and then moved on to be a part of the successful Lewes Under 18 side. He played forty three times last season.

Defender Harry Docherty spent last season with Peacehaven & Telscombe United, where he played forty three times and helped out at the other end with three goals. That followed thirty seven appearances and four goals during 22-23. He was an important part of the Peacehaven side that knocked our South Central side Chipstead out of the FA Cup last season, and Southall fans may also remember him being part of the Magpies side which knocked them out of the same competition the season before. He previously played for Newhaven.

Centre half Josh Tuck comes in from Newhaven. You might remember Josh from his time with Shoreham in our South Division during 2017-18, when he played twelve times. He also spent some time at Shoreham the following season, and more recently he was a big part of the Newhaven side which reached the SCFL Play Off Final in May, where they were defeated by Eastbourne Town. He made twenty two appearances last season. He spent some of the 22-23 season with Horsham YMCA, and has also turned out for Hassocks and Saltdean United.

Finally, Harrison Parker returns to the club. Harrison played thirty two times for the Lancers during the 21-22 season, mainly at full back or wing back, and did damage with his crossing ability and his long throws. He moved on to East Grinstead Town,  making forty appearances during 22-23, and then made eighteen appearances with two goals for the Wasps last season. 

He also played once for Whitehawk last season. 

Previously he was with Lewes as a youth, and also played for Saltdean United.
