Freiter at the Gulls

Canvey Island have announced the signing of midfielder Michael Freiter- and immediately sent him out on loan to Essex Senior League side Great Wakering Rovers to get some match fitness.

Michael came through the ranks at Gillingham before spending time at Staines Town on loan. He played for East Thurrock United and Cray Wanderers next, and also spent time at Herne Bay, Faversham Town and Sittingbourne before stepping up to National League South with Hemel Hempstead Town.

He spent some time with Sheppey United, and has been away from the game recovering from injuries since leaving the Ites.
