From Town to Town for Purcell

Just prior to their trip to Harrow Borough, Pitching In Isthmian South Central leaders Farnham Town announced the arrival of Ben Purcell from Bracknell Town.

The midfielder came through the Reading Academy, and played for the Under 18 and Under 21 sides at the club. Whilst with the Royals he had loan spells at Hartley Wintney- where he played sixteen times at the tail end of 2022- and at Farnborough, making his debut at Dulwich Hamlet in February 2023. He left Reading in the summer to make a permanent move to Bracknell Town, and indeed has already faced a couple of Isthmian sides this season, playing as his side were defeated by South Park Reigate in the FA Cup and by Lewes in the FA Trophy.
