Kickie Dzimba and Glenn Gabriel are Binfield additions

Binfield have announced the arrivals of Kickie Dzimba and Glenn Gabriel.

Kickie, to be fair, went a long way towards announcing himself on his debut on Saturday, scoring one and assisting another in a draw with Hanworth Villa on Saturday.

The midfielder and sometimes attacker lit up the Combined Counties Premier North last season, scoring twenty goals in thirty seven matches for Holyport as they reached the Play Off Semi-Final.

He also made seventeen appearances for the club during 21-22, and thirty six with eight goals during 22-23.

Prior to his time with Holyport he was part of the youth setup at Maidenhead United, and more recently he has been at Uxbridge, where he played nine times and scored once.

Glenn was with the club last season, joining just before the transfer window slammed shut, and he managed eight appearances and two goals as the Moles completed a great escape. He originally joined the club on a dual registration deal from Pitching In Southern Premier side Hanwell Town.

The winger has lots of stamps in his passport, as he started his career in Germany (following youth spells at Brentford and Stoke City), moved to Finland, and then played in Spain, before first heading to the UK and travelling west until he'd almost fallen off the end, spending time in magical Mousehole. Nearer to us he played for Hendon, then went to Cyprus to play for ENAD Polis Chrysochous, before a spell in Scotland with Peterhead. He had been an Isthmian, too, spending part of the 21-22 season with Thatcham Town, making eighteen appearances.
