The Greens announce an agreed return to their home town
Gorleston FC, who are currently sharing with Great Yarmouth Town, have announced that they have agreed a return to their own home town at some point in the future- and will play at Gorleston Recreation Ground.
After much work between the club and Great Yarmouth Borough Council, the Greens have confirmed that they plan to return to the ground they left in 1982, and indeed that their youth teams will head back there immediately. There is as yet no date for the return of the first team- so if you have booked a hotel in Great Yarmouth for an away match you've no need to panic- as there are a number of infrastructure improvements required before the entire club can go back to its roots.
