Halsey and Jones new at Bowers

Bowers and Pitsea added two new players to their squad at the weekend, with the arrivals of Joe Halsey and Kieran Jones.

Full back Joe spent last season at Concord Rangers, where he made twenty eight appearances. He was previously at Corinthian-Casuals, where he made fourteen appearances in our Premier Division during 22-23. He has also spent time at Chesham United. 

Joe is a former Luton Town Academy full back who played for all the sides below the first team. 

Kieran, a midfielder, comes in from Heybridge Swifts. Kieran arrived at swifts in the summer of 2022, and quickly became an important part of the first team at Scraley Road. He played forty seven times and scored eight goals as Swifts reached the Pitchign In isthmian North Play Off Final in 22-23, and followed that with forty one appearances and seven goals last season. 

He was previously with Barking, making forty seven appearances during 21-22- and also weighing in with eight goals. He spent a brief time at Grays Athletic but didn't seem to play.
