Hart back with the Gulls

Canvey Island have announced the return to the club- on loan- of defender Sonny Hart, the Swindon Town youngster making his latest debut from the bench as the Gulls defeated Chatham Town on Saturday.

Sonny was with the Gulls for a month during the closing stages of last season, playing four times.

Still only eighteen, he has made a handful of first team appearances for his parent club- and has also had another couple of loan spells, one of them with Gloucester City- who at that point were in National League North- and another with Harrow Borough, then a Pitching In Southern Premier side. 

He signed his first ever professional deal in July. 

Prior to his move to the Swindon Academy, he was with Southend United.
