Hastings open up a four point gap at the top

United come from behind at Pilot Field, Faversham, Erith, Whitstable and Crowborough win on the road, whilst Punjab, Bay and Gate also collect three points

Pitching In Isthmian South East leaders Hastings United hosted a local derby against Eastbourne Town, but it was Town who struck first, Alfie Rogers scoring from the spot. United drew level just before the hour, Kesna Clarke delivering the equaliser, and six minutes from time the turnaround was complete, Warren Mfula putting the hosts ahead. They weren’t done, and deep in added time Ayo Olasimbo made it three-one, ensuring that his side finished the evening four points clear at the top.

Horley Town went ahead against high-flying Erith Town on seventeen minutes, Henry Swann opening the scoring- and Swann serenely made it two just after the hour- but then the Dockers woke up! Jerome Jayaguru got one back two minutes later, and twelve minutes from time James Dyer levelled matters. A red card for the hosts Ben Dyson in added time left the visitors going they could still hoover up three points, and they did just that, Jayaguru adding a third to seal the comeback with ninety four minutes played. Erith are third, Horley slip to second from bottom.

Deal Town and Faversham Town delivered a frantic opening to their match at the seaside. The Lilywhites went ahead on five minutes through Jack Evans and added another seven minutes later, Harry Hudson doubling their lead, before Ben Chapman immediately hit back. On twenty minutes Deal completed their comeback, Tom Chapman making it two-two, but Josh Strouts restored the visitors lead just before half time. It was two-four just after the hour, Troy Howard opening up a two goal lead once more, and this time they held onto it to end the evening in fourth.

Margate were at home to Sheppey United and behind on eight minutes, Danny Leonard delivering a fifth league goal of the campaign. Gate levelled one minute into the second half through Stanley Oldfield, and fourteen minutes from time the Hartsdown Park crowd were mostly celebrating, Brad Schafer making it two-one. That was that, Margate in sixth.

Sittingbourne had seen their form take a nose-dive with only one win in seven, and the Brickies were behind against visitors Whitstable Town after only five minutes, Dean Grant with his fourth goal in five matches. Kane Rowland, playing against one of his former clubs, made it two eleven minutes before the break, but Harvey Smith almost immediately struck back to halve the arrears for all of three minutes before Rowland made it one-three. Thirteen minutes from time the fifth goal of the night went to the Brickies, Darren Foxley giving the home fans hope- but the scoring stopped there, three-two and three points to the Oysterboys, who are fifth- and have won six in a row. Sittingbourne are ninth.

Herne Bay went ahead against Ashford United just after the half hour, Ade Azeez the scorer, and as it turned out that was the only goal, with Bay up to seventh.

Punjab United went ahead against Cray Valley PM ten minutes before half time, Jack Hopkins up from the back to score, and six minutes later they doubled their lead, Wayne Bushell with their second- but the lead was immediately halved by Denzel Gayle. United were two ahead again by the break, however, Jack Hopkins making it three-one, and held on to climb to fourteenth.

Steyning Town were at home to bottom side Crowborough Athletic, and it was the Crows who struck first, Rushaar Samuel-Smikle with his sixth league goal of the campaign. Harry Forster made it two seven minutes into the second half, and almost immediately an own goal made it three. Athletic climb to twentieth.

Peacehaven and Telscombe were at home to Merstham, but neither side were at home to a goal. Haven are thirteenth, the Moatsiders seventeenth.
