Hendon boss Bukowski departs
Hendon part company with boss Ben Bukowski
Hendon have announced the departure of boss Ben Bukowski- and coach John Burke. In a club statement, they explained:
'Ben joined the club last January, inheriting an extremely tough task and battled bravely against the drop, unfortunately unsuccessfully. Following an inconsistent season so far, the club is still deep in the relegation battle. Despite two recent wins, a tally of 11 points from 10 games since Christmas has led the board of directors to conclude that a change in management is required to give us the best chance of maintaining our Step 4 status over the next eight weeks.
We’d like to place on record our thanks to Ben and John for their tireless efforts for the club, and they remain welcome at the club. They also leave with our best wishes for the future.'
Ben joined the club after his departure from Harrow Borough in January 2025. He had been in charge of Borough since the summer of 2024, when he made the move from Northwood.
Ben joined the Woods in November 2021, helping them to avoid relegation, before a fine 22-23 saw them lead the table in the early stages of the season and qualify for the Play Offs.
Prior to joining the Woods, Ben was an important part of Gary McCann's successful coaching team at first Hendon and then Hampton and Richmond Borough.
