Hendon bring in former Wigan forward

Hendon gave a debut- from the bench- to forward  Youssef Chentouf in FA Trophy victory at Bedford Town on Saturday. Youssef returns to North London following his departure from Wigan Athletic- and we say ‘returns’ because he is originally from Barnet.

Youssef, who is twenty years old, was with Rising Ballers when he was spotted by Athletic and whisked away to the land of The Verve, Pies, Northern Soul and sport played with funny shaped balls. He signed his first professional contract in the summer of 2022, and went on to play for the Under 21 side, as well as being part of the first team squad on occasions. Whilst with Athletic he spent time on loan at Slough Town, where he played seven times and scored once.
