Hassocks moved to within two points of eighteenth place Erith Town with victory at Broadbridge Heath.
The Robins had lost their previous four, whilst the Bears were also struggling for form, with four defeats from five. Hassocks went ahead on seventeen minutes, Zack Henry with the opener, and they added a second just after the hour courtesy of Jack Troak. Skipper Troak was to be the visitors hero, and go home with the match ball, as although Salvatore Marino was soon to halve the deficit for the hosts the Robins number ten quickly added two more to make it four-one and complete his hat trick. Yuvi Mann brought it back to two-four for the Bears in added time, but the points headed back to Mid Sussex.
