Basildon United have had a superb start to this season, and made it four wins from four matches in League and Cup. Their Saturday victims were Cambridge City, the Bees winning three-one on the road to go fourth. Ruben Bartlett-Antwi opened the scoring just after the half hour, and seven minutes into the second half Kye Jude made it two. City got a goal back, George Smith scoring from the spot, but in added time at the end of the match United made the points secure, Darren Esuka making it three-one.
