Darts climb to third with a sixth win in a row

Fourth place Dartford welcomed a resurgent Whitehawk to Princes Park. The Darts were our form team, fourteen matches unbeaten and looking for a sixth successive win, whilst the Hawks had been superb since the return of Shaun Saunders to the hotseat and were five unbeaten. Dartford went ahead midway through the first half, Josh Hill with the opener, and added a second only one minute into the second half, Callum Jones- the Darts number seven- making his goal tally for the season match the number on his shirt. The Hawks didn’t let their heads fall, and with seventeen minutes left they got a goal back, Josh Nandhra halving the arrears, but the last word went to the Darts, Samir Carruthers making it three-one deep in added time- and there was still time for Eddie Dsane to add a fourth.  Dartford climb into the top three- four points behind the leaders.
