Eastbourne Town were back with us for the first time since 2014, and they welcomed Beckenham Town, Becks remaining at our level after a summer reprieve from relegation. The visitors took only three minutes to go ahead, the often-prolific Louie Theophanous doing the damage, and seven minutes after half time Jamarie Brissett made it two. James Hull gave the hosts hope with seventeen minutes left, but three minutes into added time that hope departed, Steve Townsend making it three.
