The hosts coast to victory on the coast
Eastbourne Town, in thirteenth at kick off, welcomed the side promoted alongside them last season, Steyning Town. Eastbourne started the day eight points clear of the drop zone and thirteen away from the top five, but were looking to avoid a third successive defeat, whilst their visitors had taken one point from the previous thirty available, and were without a League win since September 28th. We had an early goal, and it went to the hosts, James Waters opening the scoring- and Waters added another on twenty eight minutes. With thirteen minutes to go the hosts made quite sure of three points, Marcin Ruda with their third, and there was still time for a fourth, JJ Walker with that seven minutes remaining sealing an impressive win. Eastbourne are up to twelfth, Steyning now nine points from safety.
