Erith Town were another set of debutants, and they started with the challenge of Ashford United travelling to Thamesmead. The Nuts and Bolts have built what looks like an impressive squad, but it was the hosts who went in front on eighteen minutes, Ollie Milton with the opener. They had a second just after the half hour, Harry Taylor with that one, and the match looked won, until ten minutes from time Noah Carney got a goal back for the visitors. A minute from time United looked to have grabbed a point, Max Walsh making it two-two, but four minutes into added time it seemed as if they had all three, Gary Lockyer making it two-three. Town weren’t going to end up with nothing, however, and with six added minutes on the clock Kola Salami grabbed a goal and a point.
