We had an exciting match in prospect as Farnham Town welcomed Sittingbourne. Both highly fancied, this South Central v South East match up featured two sides who both scored five goals on opening day- and they added one each in the first half of this one, Liam Smith putting the Brickies ahead on three minutes only for Town to level just before the half hour, Jack Dean with the goal. A red card for the hosts Jordan Stepney was followed by Mitchell May converting from the spot for Sittingbourne, but the ten men levelled through Kai Tanner with eleven minutes left. In added time, however, the Brickies advantage finally told, May adding two more to clinch a four-two win and the match ball.
