Five goal Brennan leads the way on a perfect night for Farnham, the Moles buried under an avalanche of goals
Farnham Town played host to Binfield, and with the home side having won each of their league matches prior to this point, and the visitors still looking for that first win, the outcome was perhaps pre-ordained- but the scale of that outcome could not have been so easily predicted. The star of the show was Shay Brennan, and goodness, what a star he was.
Brennan put Town ahead on twelve minutes, and he also scored their final- seventh- goal eighteen minutes from time, but in between those he managed three more to end the match on five, those goals arriving on nineteen, thirty seven and fifty two minutes. There were also two from Sam De St Croix, and it left Farnham three points clear at the top having scored twenty five goals whilst conceding only two.
