Fifth place Hanworth Villa had a local derby, Rayners Lane making the trip. Villa were unbeaten at home, Lane without a victory on the road, so that surely made the Villains the favourites- but when the opening goal arrived it was the visitors that scored it, Shamal Edwards putting them in front with only twenty one minutes left. That turned out to be the only goal, and Lane up to twelfth.
