Hanworth Villa had taken only one point from their first two League matches, but had hit four in each of their cup ties, and the Villains finally brought that cup form into their league campaign by hammering Ashford Town. Sam Merson got them underway with a goal in the fourth minute, and nine minutes later it was two-nil, Finlay McNab with that one. Jack Arnold got a goal back from the spot for the Tangerines, but Quincy Patterson made it three just before the break, and eleven minutes from time George Wells added a fourth. Villa are up to ninth.
