A narrow win for Farnham ends Borough's unbeaten home record
Farnham Town started the day with a four point lead at the top of the Pitching In Isthmian South Central table, and a difficult match in prospect as they headed around the M25 to take on Harrow Borough. Borough were unbeaten at home, had only two defeats from ten, and were rather bent on revenge after losing four-nil to Farnham in September, but they fell behind five minutes before the break, Owen Dean- of course- with the goal, his sixteenth in twenty matches. For all of Borough’s efforts, the equaliser wouldn’t come- and Farnham remain four clear at the top.
