Hayes come from behind to win at eight goal Velocity Cup thriller
Hayes and Yeading United came from behind- twice- to win an eight goal thriller against Moneyfields. It looked positive for the hosts when Mwetsi Matangi gave them the lead after two minutes, but the Moneys equalised six minutes later through Lawrence Cooper and were ahead ten minutes after that, Scott Hills scoring from the spot. It was all-square at half time, Rocky Williams levelling for the hosts, but the Portsmouth side were ahead again just before the hour, Callum Laycock making it three-two. With twenty three minutes to go Kaylen Hinds scored the latest United equaliser, and after that they took control, Cole Brown with a fourth and, right at the end, George Sippetts ensuring that the game was finally won. Five-three the final score, the Moneys still looking for a first victory of the campaign.
