A former Tanner comes back to haunt Fetcham Grove!
Raynes Park Vale, in sixth, travelled to Leatherhead. Vale had actually been better on the road than on their own patch, having lost only once on their travels, whilst the Tanners were six unbeaten, and had won their last three home matches whilst scoring fourteen goals, so that made the outcome rather difficult to predict, but we expected lots of goals. We didn’t get lots of goals, indeed we waited seventy eight minutes just to get one, and it went to the visitors, Daniel Hector -of course, formerly of Leatherhead- scoring it. What they had, they held- and climbed back into the top five.
