The Tanners end Farnham's long unbeaten run- in style
Leatherhead were the latest side to try to end Farnham Town’s magnificent run, and the Tanners went ahead on thirty eight minutes. Lucas Franzen-Jones has made a fine start to his Leatherhead career and scored his third in three to put his side ahead seven minutes before half time- and he added another seven minutes into the second half as Town’s fifty eight match unbeaten run looked under severe threat. The visitors quickly got a goal back, Adam Liddle the scorer, but within two minutes of that Franzen-Jones had completed his hat trick to make it three-one. Kane Fitzgerald added a fourth for the hosts eleven minutes from time, and they climb to twelfth. Farnham stay top, but it will be heartening to the other promotion contenders that they have finally become vulnerable.
