Late goals as the Ambers snatch a last gasp point
Lewes were back at the Dripping Pan, Cheshunt their visitors. The Rooks had slipped to tenth after a run of two wins from ten, and hoped to end a run of five matches without a victory; whilst only goal difference kept the Ambers out of the bottom four at kick off, but they had looked improved of late, only one defeat from their last four. Cheshunt made the breakthrough on twenty five minutes, Vas Vasiliou taking his tally for the season into double figures, but the Rooks levelled just after the hour, Alfie Allen lighting up the Dripping Pan. Two minutes from time Tolu Ladapo stepped up to deliver what looked like a winner for the hosts- but looks were deceiving, as there was still time for Sam Granville to equalise. Lewes are still tenth, the Ambers now a point above the drop zone.
