A sixth win in a row for the Moneys lifts them to within three points of the top five

Uxbridge, in fourth, travelled to Moneyfields knowing that they might have a tough night in prospect- and indeed it was tough, as two second half goals gave the Moneys yet another victory. That’s six wins in a row, eight wins from ten, and the fifth home match in a row that has ended with three points for the Moneys, who climb to ninth, and close the gap on the top five to only three points.

Scott Hills was the match winner, and he got both of his goals from the spot, but by the time the hosts went ahead they were playing against ten men, Luke Paris dismissed for the visitors on thirty nine minutes. The opener arrived on sixty seven minutes, and seven minutes later referee Nicholas Whittington was pointing at the spot once more. A few more seconds and he was confirming another Hills goal, and that was that. A five match unbeaten run came to an end for the visitors.
